About the client
Ammeraal Beltech Poland is a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and servicing of process and conveyor belts. The company’s products are manufactured in 10 production facilities across Europe, the USA, Canada, and Asia, and are available in over 150 countries worldwide.
The task
We were entrusted with relocating a factory from Vejle, Denmark to Szczecin, Poland. The project involved moving two production lines, consisting of a total of 56 machines, over a distance of more than 600 kilometers.
Execution
The first step was to dismantle the machines and production lines, and disconnect all utilities at the facility in Denmark. Next came the organization of oversize transport, along with packing and securing the equipment for safe delivery to Poland.
At the destination site, we installed the machines according to a pre-defined layout, connected the necessary utilities, and commissioned the entire system. The project was completed within the time frame initially estimated when taking on the relocation.
